DistroKid Rebrand Concept

DistroKid is a music distribution service that helps independent artists and bands upload their music to Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, YouTube, and all major streaming platforms in a fast and affordable manner.

I noticed that from a brand and marketing standpoint, they’re lacking in their presence and not fully taking advantage of being the company that onboards new and upcoming artists while maintaining long-lasting relationships with music veterans.

I decided to overhaul their entire branding system while still staying true to DistroKids’ core values of being artist-centric, affordable and accessible, and inclusive. I took inspiration from the branding and marketing of Reddit, Spotify, Duolingo, Twitch, and CashApp.
